WORK FOR A GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED WORLD LEADER! Manage all Nikon Instruments Inc. Web, Social Media, Advertising, and Public Relations efforts. Lead the Global Marketing Group, and provide oversight of all Global Web, Advertising, and Social Media efforts. Coordinate with Nikon Gempos (NEBV, NIT, AOM, NIS, etc..) Globally to develop and implement unified WW marketing message. Manage strategic scientific electronic and print publication planning and execution efforts developed in consult with global product managers and scientific key opinion leaders. Manage all NII Trade Show marketing. Oversee NII’s CRM (Salesforce) management, ongoing administrative updates, and Project Roadmap, including Pardot, Quote Tools, Strategic Selling integration, and communications between Salesforce, SAP, and tie in to NII web to quote functionality.
Key areas of responsibility:
• Oversight and management of all Nikon Healthcare Global microscope websites (NII, NEBV, AOM, NIT, and China). This includes managing our web agency and our server/IT agency and interfacing with marketing groups from Asia and Europe to manage their daily requests. • Routine travel (includes international) • Oversees NII’s educational website Microscopy U. • Oversees the Global Nikon Small World and Small World in Motion Competitions • Oversees the global Nikon Instruments social media platforms (for all world regions • Manages all of NII’s advertising campaigns (from traditional banner ads to webinars, Google Ads, etc. • Manages and directly involved in creation of marketing assets (for all customer-facing platforms and materials • Oversees PR efforts • Works with Legal dept. to draft and approve co-marketing agreements between NII and new partner companies • Liaison for Nikon Imaging Centers • Manages marketing portion of Tradeshows and smaller meetings • Oversees and directly involved in educational courses for customers (MBL, CSHL, etc.) • Manages and directly involved in specimen creation for sales demos and trainings • Oversees NII’s CRM (Salesforce) and related projects
• 8+ Years’ experience in Bioscience Marketing • Ph.D. in Biosciences, Bioengineering, or Physics with optics specialty, preferred but not required • Experience in advanced Bioscience technologies, including but not limited to, Super Resolution, Confocal Microscopy, TIRF microscopy, FRET, FRAP, Spectral and Lifetime Imaging is preferred. • Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) • MS Outlook • SAP, preferred. • SFDC, preferred. • Extensive knowledge of light microscopy and advanced Bio-Science technologies • Extensive knowledge in optics, imaging and software applications • Excellent quantitative skills • Excellent presentation skills • Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate internally and externally, representing the Company professionally and effectively to customers and other external sources. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to lift and carry up to 40bs • Ability to travel by car, public transportation, or air, overnight and international included, up to ~40% • Ability to routinely access and visit customer sites, universities, hospitals and other venues. • Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others in a team selling environment, and maintain them over time.
Education, skills & experience:
• 8+ Years’ experience in Bioscience Marketing • Ph.D. in Biosciences, Bioengineering, or Physics with optics specialty, preferred but not required • Experience in advanced Bioscience technologies, including but not limited to, Super Resolution, Confocal Microscopy, TIRF microscopy, FRET, FRAP, Spectral and Lifetime Imaging is preferred.Submit Resume
